ELECTION OF TAC OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS

TAC is administered by a group of up to six officers and nine directors. The officers are elected to the key positions of President, Vice President (one each for eastern and western Canada), treasurer and secretary. The immediate Past President is also an officer. Currently, the positions of secretary and treasurer are held by one person. Officers hold their positions for a term of two years.

There are currently eight directors. They represent each of TAC's four regional groups. In addition, directors have been appointed with responsibility for communications; contractor liaison; membership; and government liaison and by-laws. Directors' positions are voluntary; the current board of directors (which includes the officers) votes on acceptance of new directors.

If you have an interest in being involved in TAC's administration as a director, you can contact any current officer or director. They are listed on our web site under: Organization > Officers. If you would like to be involved or would like to nominate a person as an officer, contact the Past President at pastpresident@tunnelcanada.ca preferably by June.

In 2011 we will be selecting candidates for Vice President West, and Secretary.
