Tunneller of the Year Award

The Tunnelling Association of Canada presents the Canadian Tunneller of the Year Award to an individual, or crew, who has gone above and beyond on a particular underground infrastructure project The award is intended to recognize the on-site people, at any level, who build the underground infrastructure, such as contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, labourers, trades, etc.

In evaluating nominations, judges will look for evidence of the following for the nominee:

Leadership;
Innovative technical and logistical problem-solving;
Provides motivation to others on-site; and/or
Provides public awareness and a safety-first attitude.
